This summer
we have had an owl living nearby.
He hooty hoots
for us each morning
while it's still dark
and we are sitting outside
having coffee.
Then he starts making his rounds.
Am glad the kittens
are getting big.
But I fear all the baby quail
aren't fairing so well.
The laws of nature.....
