Tailor to the Cowboy Stars
(back in the day)
Very Flamboyant
I always heard how he never wore a
matched pair of boots after
someone stole a pair
from him.
He was always at the
Las Vegas Western Market
(back before the Sarhara was
reduced to a pile of rubble)
He and other old time Cowboy Stars
like Ben Johnson, Rex Allen & Richard Farnsworth
would come and hang out in the Tony Lama Booth.
I followed them down the escalator one time.
It was my brush with The Famous.
It was so stinking exciting!
